Today, Emma, Logan, and I went to the parade in Gladstone with our friends Maia, Malena, and Nik. The kids had a great time, but I think they were more interested in getting candy than in the actual parade!! Logan especially liked to watch the pommies and cheerleaders dancing. :) I am going to try and get a video of the girls dancing on here, but I think you may have to turn your head sideways.
Sadly, there were plenty of claps and cheers when the Republican float when by, but interestingly enough, I was the only one clapping and cheering when the Democrat float went by. Oh, well, I will wear my Obama sticker with pride!
