Today, I was in line to pick up Emma from preschool. Her teacher stopped me and told me they were moving Emma's spot at lunch. Right now, she sits by her BFF Malena. However, her teacher said that she is talking WAY more than she is eating, and is getting 1/3 of her lunch eaten in the 45 minute lunch period. Malena's lunch, however, is mostly gone, so I am assuming Emma is doing the talking. She has always been a chatterbox, but it's never presented itself as a problem until now. (Mom, I hope you're reading this because now I am paying for it!!!!) Her teacher says she is going to put another student between Emma and Malena and hope that cuts down on the talking. The only problem with this idea is that Emma makes friends with anyone and everyone, and she will have no problem striking up a conversation with the new kids next to her. No wonder she is always starving after school . . .
