We have had the same rocker for four years. We bought it when I was about eight months pregnant with Emma. It is made out of "pleather," and recently it began SHEDDING all over our house. I would rock Logan in the rocker, resting his feet on the arm of the chair. The pleather would actually stick his socks and fall off somewhere around the house!! I finally told Matt that it is going in the garbage because I was tired of vacumming up bits of chair everyday, so he either had to buy a new chair or be chairless. We went to Nebraska Furniture Mart Saturday and picked out a new chair we all love!! Logan obviously loves it, as well.
It's sort of bittersweet because it's the chair I rocked Emma to sleep in every night when she was a baby, but I think I can deal. :)
