Each September since Emma has been born, my sisters and I get the kids' pictures done. This year, there were three new additions: Logan and my sister's step-kids, Makayla and Jazmin. This, of course, made it even harder than it was last year! It is difficult to get six kids in coordinating outfits, and even tougher to get them all to look at the camera. Thus the title of this post: What Were We Thinking? We do this to ourselves every year.
The above picture is what we ended up with. In the 50,000 other pictures that were taken, Jace had a funny face, Gabriel didn't smile because he didn't want to show his braces, Logan looked shocked, etc. and so on. They are ALL looking at the camera in this picture, and we love it.
Now, as long as nobody has a baby this year (don't look at ME), we should be pros with six kids by next year!
