This Is For You, Maia

Okay, so Emma and I had the strangest conversation the other day. I told Maia, who has proceeded to tell everyone! ;) Another friend, Sarah, told her to put it on her blog, but Maia thought it would be weird since Emma is not her kid. I don't think so, though. Maia is Emma's "surrogate mommy." :) I was never going to put it on here because I think it's a gross conversation, so this is for you, Maia. Anyway, most of you know that Emma was sick with the "flu" last week (she had all the symptoms Malena had, who tested positive, but Emma tested negative). She had a bit of diarrhea on this day, and our conversation went something like this:

Emma: "Mommy, I peed out of my butt!"
Me: "It's called diarrhea."
Emma: "Oh."

She went about playing for several minutes, and then asked:

Emma: "Mommy, what's it called again when you pee out of your butt?"
Me: "Diarrhea."
Emma: "Oh. What's it called when you poop out of your vagina?"

I told her that should never, EVER happen. So, you see why I had no desire to post this conversation. :)
