Things have been so crazy busy in the Heagy household!! The school year is well underway, and Emma is doing amazing. She loves everything about school, and I hope that it remains that way for years to come. Yesterday, we had a scary incident. She went out the walker door to leave school instead of the car riding door, and they couldn't find her. She had gone to the playground to cry, and luckily another mom got her and was going to take her to the office. I asked her if she was crying because she was scared, and she said, "No, I was crying because I was worried about you." I told her that I'm sorry I made her cry, and she said that she is sorry she made me cry, too. What a sweet girl. Hopefully this won't happen again, because this mama was terrified!
Logan is now walking full-time and is keeping us on our toes. He is constantly into things that he shouldn't be into. We are closing doors and putting up gates to keep him out of trouble! He is saying so many things now and is basically being a little charmer.
I have recently decided to go back to school to get my Masters in Educational Leadership! I figured that I might as well go down so I don't lose the drive. I know that if I am out of school for a few years I will not want to go back. Honestly, I don't want to go now but know that I have to do it. Wish me luck!

Soccer, Beer, and Kindergarten
Things have been busy in the Heagy household! Logan has become such a climber. He wanted to "help" me clean the fridge, but of course he had to climb in it to help me! He is climbing on everything and getting into everything, so it's hard to keep up. Currently, he is taking a few steps here and there but not walking all the time yet. I know that it's just a matter of time, though. His vocabulary is expanding daily! His favorite word is probably "uh oh," which he uses when he drops something, purposefully or not. He's also been saying "ow" when he gets hurt and "whoa" when he is surprised. :) My least favorite word of his is "uh uh," which he uses sometimes when I ask if I can have a kiss!
I use this gate to keep him out of where I am if I need to, and here he is climbing onto the time out chair to try to get up and over the gate!
Emma started soccer recently, and she has been loving it! For the most part she is getting right in there and kicking the ball, but we have had a few bumps and bruises. When she got hurt two practices in a row, she said, "I don't want to play soccer anymore." I told her that she is signed up for soccer and she needs to finish the season. She says, "Did you sign me up in pencil?" I told her no and asked why, and she said that if I signed her up in pencil I could just erase her name! After yesterdays practice and not getting hurt, I think she likes it again.
